Take the
PlayCleanGo Pledge
We Protect the Places We Love. Together.
Take the PledgeEvery outdoor adventure is an opportunity to make a difference. Whether we're hiking, biking, fishing, camping, horseback riding or simply enjoying our favorite outdoor spaces, the actions we take can help prevent the spread of invasive species.
By taking the PlayCleanGo pledge, you're joining a growing community of people across North America who are committed to protecting the places we love.
Small actions become habits. And when we all do our part, those habits can make a lasting difference.
Make Prevention Part of Every Adventure
When you take the PlayCleanGo pledge, you're committing to simple actions that help prevent the spread of invasive species.
I pledge to:
Arrive clean and leave clean.
Remove mud, seeds, plants and other organisms from my footwear, clothing, pets, vehicles and equipment before and after outdoor activities.
Protect our waterways.
Clean, drain and dry my watercraft and aquatic equipment, and dispose of unwanted bait responsibly.
Make responsible choices.
Stay on designated roads and trails, use local or certified firewood and choose certified weed-free forage when appropriate.
Share prevention with others.
Encourage friends, family and fellow outdoor enthusiasts to make simple prevention actions part of their adventures.
Make prevention a habit.
Take the steps relevant to my activities every time I head outdoors.
