Volunteer Workday: Donegal Highlands Nature Preserve

Come help the team at the Donegal Highlands Nature Preserve to restore local ecosystems. We will be working on invasive shrub removal as the first part of a comprehensive eco-restoration program.
What to Expect: We will be working on potentially steep, uneven terrain with multiple trip hazards using hand tools to remove invasive species. Hand tools and work gloves will be provided. There are port-a-johns available across the street at Old Trolley Line Park. This event is for ages 10 and up (participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).
What to Bring: Dress for the weather; long pants and closed toe shoes are a must. Bring drinking water.
