Stewardship Sunday: Invasive Species Removal & Native Planting

Invasive plants threaten native species by outcompeting them for resources and disrupting the habitats and food sources that native animals depend on. That’s why we prioritize managing invasive species on-site—and we’d love for you to join us this Sunday!

This is a FREE volunteer opportunity open to everyone! While advance registration is encouraged, walk-ins are welcome if supplies and space allow.

Be ready for an active day outdoors! You’ll be walking on uneven terrain, with a chance your feet may get wet. The sand can become quite hot, so plan accordingly. Bring sun protection, a reusable water bottle, and bug spray if needed. Closed-toe shoes are required, and we recommend wearing long sleeves and pants for added comfort and protection.

Age recommendation: 8+ (Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)
