Volunteer Day: Invasive Plant Removal – Rana Creek Preserve

Help remove the invasive French broom tree – an aggressive invader that displaces native plants and increases wildfire risk. Each tree removed makes a huge difference towards eradication.
Come spend the day with like minded people and help us with a meaningful cause!
Reservations required.
Meet at the West Gate by 9:45AM.

Event is from 10am-2pm.
Bring snacks and a lunch. Some bottled water and small snacks will be available.
Backcountry – no bathrooms available.
Wear personal protective equipment like closed-toed shoes, long pants, and sun protection.
Bring gloves if you have some. If not we can provide a pair.
Bring a weed wrench if you have one – we have limited tools.
Ages 15 and up. If under 18 you must come with a parent or guardian.
