The PlayCleanGo® Awareness Week Toolkit is designed to help partners, organizations, outdoor recreation groups, and individuals participate in PlayCleanGo® Awareness Week, taking place June 6–13, 2026, across North America.
Whether you are hosting an event, sharing prevention tips online, supporting outreach in your community, or encouraging stewardship on the trails and waterways you love, this toolkit makes it easy to get involved.
PlayCleanGo® Awareness Week is coordinated by the North American Invasive Species Management Association (NAISMA) in collaboration with Invasives Canada, CONABIO, and partners across North America to help prevent the spread of invasive species through simple recreation focused actions.

The PlayCleanGo® Awareness Week Toolkit includes ready to use outreach materials to help partners, organizations, and individuals participate in PlayCleanGo® Awareness Week and encourage outdoor recreation audiences to help prevent the spread of invasive species.
Resources are organized into folders, making it easy to browse and download materials that best fit your audience, outreach efforts, and community events.
The toolkit includes:

- Outreach messaging and prevention tips

- Press release and proclamation templates
- Webinar and photo contest promotional materials
- Multilingual outreach resources
Toolkit Resources
The downloadable files are organized into outreach themes including:
- Our connection to outdoor spaces [Activities]
- The everyday actions that help prevent the spread of invasive species [Actions]
- The community working together across North America to protect natural areas [Events]
Graphics are also grouped by outdoor recreation activities and prevention actions such as hiking, biking, paddling, camping, horseback riding, ATV recreation, climbing, Clean, Drain, Dry messaging, boot brush stations, and gear cleaning.
